Dark Fantasy & Paranormal Romance Author

Step into a world of morally grey characters, where love is all-consuming, and the darker side of humanity refuses to stay hidden.

I’m Serra Rose, an author of paranormal romance and dark fantasy, weaving stories of vampire romance, wolf shifters, and Death itself. My books explore obsession, loyalty, and the fine line between love and destruction.

Author's note:

AI

do not use generative AI in my writing and do not support its use in the creative process. Art, books, music and narration belong to human voices. The use of AI is a short cut, bypassing the heart of creativity. It has no imagination, passion, or talent that creatives pour into their work. Creativity cannot be imitated by a machine or prompts.

No individual, organisation, or entity may input, reproduce, or distribute any portion of my work for the purpose of training AI, machine learning technologies, or AI detection systems.

The Horsemen Chronicles

The Shadow Within and Death's Shadow are situated in Medieval England, and to stay faithful to my characters and the world they inhabit, I've written the book in British English rather than American English. You may notice words like "colour," "honour," and "realise." These are not errors but reflect the unique English of a different time and place.

 The Bloodsong Series

Bloodsong is set in Melbourne, Australia, and there is Australian and NZ lingo.  You'll find words like Mum, rando, sweet as, and yeah nah. Some things may *seem* inaccurate to those in the northern hemisphere, such as it being winter in June. Believe me, when I wrote Bloodsong in June, it was very cold here in Melbourne!

The book itself is written in British English. We use U a lot in words, and sometimes S instead of Z like in recognise.
